Unknown Gunman ‘Sampolo’ Killed By Police In Anambra

An unknown gunman ‘Sampolo’ was killed during the encounter with police operatives in Anambra.

Police in Anambra has said it killed an unknown gunman after engaging his gang members in a shootout.

In a video posted by @DejiAdesogan on Twitter, the police officers claimed that one ‘Sampolo’ was shot dead during a gun duel.

The police officer narrating the story, said Sampolo was a member of an unknown gunmen gang which included a lady terrorizing residents of Oko community and Ekwulobia in Aguata local council area of Anambra State.

Exhibits recovered from them include a Biafran flag, police beret, web belts, charms, arms, two pairs of Eastern Security Network (ESN) uniforms, among others.

The police said the gang members had kidnapped a victim but were repelled in the attack that led to the death of Sampolo.
