The PDP senators, according to Atiku were led by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda.
Presidential candidate of The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, National Chairman of the party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu on Tuesday night, met with the PDP senate caucus.
The former Vice President disclosed this in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
The PDP senators, according to Atiku were led by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda.
The tweet reads, “Last night, my Vice Presidential candidate @IAOkowa and @OfficialPDPNig National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu and I met with the PDP Senate Caucus led by Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Philip Aduda.
“It was a fruitful meeting that focused on the unity of our party ahead of the 2023 election. -AA”.
Although the PDP presidential candidate did not state the purpose of the meeting, it may not be unconnected with the current crisis rocking the main opposition party.
