After an image of a seminar being held by Remo Stars FC and that of Lobi Stars football team of Makurdi surfaced online.

Fans of the NPFL have criticized the Lobi Stars Management and the NPFL for not giving clubs in the league more media exposure, and they have also criticized the club’s chairman, Tama Aondofar Emmanuel, for treating the organization like a street football cooperative.

Lobi Stars Football Club (previously known as Mosquito Football Club, Lobi Bank, BBL Hawks, and Hawks) is a professional soccer team based in Makurdi, Benue, Nigeria. The team plays in the Nigerian Pro Football League. The 8,000-seat Aper Aku Stadium is the home of the Stars.
