NAN’s sends Notification of protest to it members and students community, in it communique, it reads as started below
NOTIFICATION OF PROTEST!
#ShutdownOkeMosan
#ShutdownBeninOreExpressway
To: All Union Presidents, NANS Executives, NANS Southwest, NANS National, NANS Leaders, Cadres and Stakeholders & All affiliate bodies.
This is to formally notify and request your solidarity presence for a protest against the unjust killing of a 300 level TASUED student.
Having exhausted all other means of peaceful resolution to no avail, we’re now under constraint to take to the streets to further press our demands.
Despite several consultations and consolidations, none of the assailants have been arrested and our innocent students still remain incarcerated up till now.
We therefore enjoin all well meaning Students leaders to join us as we continue to demand #JusticeForAdebayo.
Protest Venue: Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan and Benin-Ore Expressway.
Date: Monday, June 5th, 2023 till our demands are met.
Time: 8.00am.
Solidarity Forever!
E-Signed
