Nigeria’s Super Eagles has qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian senior national soccer team beat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the regular time.
Nigeria will now wait for the eventual winner of the second semi-final match between tournament host, Cote D’Ivoire and DR Congo, which is about to be kicked off this Wednesday night by 9pm Nigerian time, for the AFCON finals slated for February 11, 2024.
