Job Description:
The Store and Logistics Officer will be responsible for the efficient management of pharmaceutical inventories and logistics processes.
This role ensures the safe storage, handling, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products while adhering to industry regulations.
Requirements:
Inventory Management: Oversee receiving, storing, issuing, and auditing of pharmaceutical stock. Maintain accurate records and prevent stockouts, overstocking, or spoilage through control measures.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate and monitor the transportation of products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with transport regulations, including cold chain requirements.
Warehouse Operations: Ensure organized, safe, and compliant storage of products. Supervise handling of deliveries to prevent damage.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to GDP, GMP, and other regulations, maintaining thorough documentation of inventory activities.
Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with procurement, quality control, and sales teams. Generate reports on inventory and logistics and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory standards is a plus.
Skills and Ability:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical storage requirements and compliance standards.
