Role Overview
As a Payment Agent, you will handle and verify digital payments, ensuring smooth and accurate P2P transactions between buyers and sellers while adhering strictly to company procedures and anti-fraud standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing P2P payments accurately
- Verify payment proofs and transaction details in real time
- Maintain accurate transaction logs and daily records
- Communicate professionally with clients and partners on payment issues
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies and anti-fraud measures
- Work closely with the operations and support teams to maintain smooth workflows
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple transactions
- Familiarity with digital wallets, bank transfers, or crypto P2P platforms (e.g. Binance, Bybit, OKX)
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
Nice to Have
Experience in crypto trading, fintech, or payment processing
Understanding of blockchain-based transactions
Prior experience as a P2P merchant or payment processor
Compensation
