Location: Agbara Industrial Area, Ogun State
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a competent, experienced, and safety-conscious Electrical, Mechanical & Power House Technician to join our Maintenance Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical equipment, production machinery, and power house facilities, including gas-powered generators.

Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on production machines and other plant equipment.
3. Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and repairs of motors, pumps, compressors, control panels, and other industrial equipment.
4. Operate, monitor, and maintain gas-powered generators and other power house equipment.
5. Monitor generator performance, fuel/gas consumption, operating parameters, and report abnormalities promptly.
6. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and power house emergencies.
7. Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of electrical and mechanical equipment.
8. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
9. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and spare parts used.
10. Identify potential equipment failures and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
11. Ensure proper use and care of maintenance tools and equipment.
12. Ensure all maintenance and power house activities are carried out in accordance with company safety procedures.
13. Work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
14. Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements
1. OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
2. Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
3. Practical experience operating and maintaining gas-powered generators is highly required.
4. Good knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
5. Experience with motors, pumps, compressors, control panels, sensors, and related industrial equipment.
6. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults effectively.
7. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
8. Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
9. Strong knowledge of workplace and electrical safety procedures.
10. Ability to work under pressure and respond to equipment breakdowns when required.
11. Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, when required.
12. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following environments will be an added advantage:

1. Plastics manufacturing
2. Packaging/manufacturing industries
FMCG
3. Industrial production plants
4. Power house operations
5. Gas generator operation and maintenance
