Chelsea are reportedly one of the clubs in England expected to bid for Borussia Dortmund frontman Erling Haaland.
According to report ,German club Dortmund are ready to listen to offers for their 21-year-old superstar.
It is explained that Dortmund expect bids at the end of the season when the centre-forward’s £64million release clause becomes active, however, they may hear different offers with an instalment payment plan.
The report states that bids from England are expected for Haaland. Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are named as those “very keen” Premier League parties. Also, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are suitors.
The source does report the player himself is yet to decide his future for next year, though.
Tuchel a big admirer
Chelsea’s name is understandably included when transfer speculation arises about one of the world’s very best young stars. 
Haaland, who’s scored 70 goals in 69 Dortmund appearances, looks destined for the very top.
Interestingly, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel described him as a “fantastic player” back in October, so it looks like he’s already got his seal of approval as a transfer target.
The Norwegian striker is a goal machine by netting 13 times already this campaign for his club, but is unfortunately sidelined through injury right now.
Do Chelsea need him?
Chelsea signed Romelu Lukaku as their new marquee centre-forward at the start of this season, which is why it’s difficult to imagine Haaland joining the ranks.
In truth, you can’t turn your nose up when a player of Haaland’s ability is going to be on the market for a minimal fee.
If the Blues pulled off a remarkable deal for him, they could always play two up front. It really is fantasy stuff picturing a Lukaku-Haaland pairing at the Bridge.
Some Chelsea fans mocked Haaland’s Dortmund side after they were eliminated from the Champions League group stages yesterday, with several frustrated they couldn’t sign him in the summer.
