…Seeks staff cooperation
As the University Management welcomes team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to the campus, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wole Banjo has sought maximum cooperation with the visiting NUC team towards a successful exercise, with prayers for God’s unending protection on members of the accreditation team.
The Vice Chancellor noted that all is set for another academic culture in the Nation’s Premier and Preferred University of Education.
TASUED, which is the First of its kind in Nigeria, Second on the continent of Africa and Eighth in the world has become a resource centre for many tertiary institutions in the country in terms of academic excellence and pedagogy of education.
The accreditation, which comes up on April 19 and 21, 2021 respectively comprises of two different teams that will discharge their duties on those days.
While accreditation for Departments of Agricultural Science Education, Childhood Education, Biology Education, Computer Science Education, Library and Information Science, English Education, History Education and Diplomatic Studies Education will take place on April 19, 2021, the following Departments will have theirs on April 21, 2021: Fine and Applied Arts and Education, Islamic Studies Education, Educational Management, Transport Planning and Management, Educational Technology and Social Studies and Education.
The University Management further implores all Colleges and Departments involved in the exercise to be on top of their job in order to have a hitch-free accrediration exercise while a plea has also gone to the entire University Community to support various departments concerned in order to achieve huge success
