UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, [UNILAG] ANNOUNCES RESUMPTION DATE FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION, AFFIRMS MERGING OF TWO ACADEMIC SESSIONS

COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES FOR 100 LEVEL STUDENTS FOR 2020/2021& 2021/2022 SESSIONS

Following the commencement of lectures for students from 200 level upwards on November 26, 2021 in the 2021/2022 session, this is to notify all lecturers that classes for the 100 level students for 2020/2021 and 2021 2022 sessions should commence on January 4, 2022.

The delay in the commencement of lecture for the freshmen is as a result of the ongoing registration exercise of newly enrolled students. While the admission/registration for new students in the 2020/2021 session has been concluded, registration is still ongoing for students admitted in the 2021/2022 session.

This directive is in view of the peculiarity of the admission process whereby two sets of newly admitted students were combined, and it is imperative for them to start lectures at the same time.
