WHAT HAVE I DONE?
In love, I breathed lust,
My soul was found but lost,
Smacking away like mere dust;
My spirit wanders in the bust.
She idolized my body,
She worshipped my temple,
She stood firm but stumble,
She clung unto me but lonely.
I flirted with her trust;
With my phony and sweet words,
I promised her heaven on earth,
But all I could give her was death.
She moved mountains for my sake;
Birds and stars helped in turmoil,
She calms the sound of the winds,
Sun and moon rejoice as they sing.
I betrayed her spirit,
I ousted her merit,
I backstabbed her faith,
I rewrite her fate.
What have I done?
With my hands, I killed my joy,
Can I ever be forgiven?
Now on earth and in heaven.
